Queens, you know me or you think you do. You know I love the Lord and I work hard. Very hard. I care. I care about people so I try hard to help them or at least create opportunities that help. That’s how Selah was born.
It started out as The Circle of Love decades ago as I engaged one woman after another with similar life challenges. We cried. We laughed. We rejoiced over our successes and lamented over our failures.
Life changed and the challenges kept coming. That’s how the Circle was reborn as Selah, the Dallas Edition and the Atlanta Edition.
The global health pandemic caused by COVID-19 closed the world. The tragic death of George Floyd open our hearts. Nothing is the same and at the same time everything is the same. We’re planning in faith that the Selah, The Dallas Edition will be held November 19 – 21,2020, Omni Hotel, Frisco, Texas, as long as it is safe to gather. Selah, the Atlanta Edition is already rescheduled to August, 2021.
Just what is a Selah Queen going to do? Our stomachs are churning but our backbone is still intact. We’re crying but we’re trying to be agile enough to adapt to a new set of realities. Selah, the Home Edition is born.
Our first Selah at Home is June 15, 2020 on the Face Book Selah Leadership page.
However, if you registered for a 2019 or 2020 Selah Atlanta or Selah Dallas event, you are invited to join the Selah Online Face Book Page private group. There you will have access to our special guests and be able to ask questions during our encounter.
After our encounter is over, the conversation continues just between us. We’ll laugh, cry, rejoice over our successes, lament over our failures and resource each other to do better and be better than the day before.
Since we will be at home grab your sweet tea, hot tea, lemonade, iced coffee, water and a comfortable chair. Put on your Selah or Slay in Your Lane tee and be ready to share.
